The Miller family were long time residents of the Kumeti area of Te Rehunga, nestled at the foothills of the Ruahine mountain range, 11 kms from Dannevirke in southern Hawkes Bay. Gilly Miller owned this farm, his woolshed and yards remain set against the greens of the Kumeti, the backdrop of the Ruahine range with typically foreboding Kumeti clouds overhead.
